BMW is not only a successful car brand, but also experiences very well in the world class car racs including WTCC. BMW has been putting its emphasis on reducing unsprung weight and increasing structural rigidity rather than increasing power output. BMW 320i E46 has only 3 horsepower. To counter this small power increase, the body shell of the E46 was claimed by BMW to be 70% more rigid than the E36's, and aluminum suspension components were used increasingly in order to decrease unsprung weight. In WTCC 2005, both J. Muller #42 and J. Muller #43 proved its high speed and stable performance to us. AUTOart has also immortalized these two car models to be diecast 1/18 models.
